Warning: Risk of Injury or Death
Failure to follow safety instructions could result in fire, electric shock, damage to the dot board, personal injury or death.
Warning: Wear Safety Equipment
Always wear a helmet when riding to minimise risks of injury or death. Whenever you ride a dot board, you risk death or serious injury from falls, loss of control, loss of braking power or collisions with people, vehicles and other obstacles. Other protective equipment (pads, long sleeves/pants, wrist guards) are highly recommended.
Warning: Dangerous Riding Environments
Never ride in the rain, through water or on wet surfaces. There are numerous other obstacles that you should avoid including:
- slippery or uneven surfaces
- extremely steep hills
- over cracks in the pavement
- train tracks
- gravel and rocks
- debris or any other obstacles that could cause a loss of control
- riding at night with poor visibility
Warning: Loss of Braking or Power
Do not ride a dot board in situations or at speeds where you would not be safely in control of a non-powered skateboard. In the event of loss of control, brakes or power, or a battery fault, you may need to rely on skating techniques like foot braking or sliding to stop.
Warning: Water Damage
Do not ride on wet or icy pathways or roads. Water ingress has the potential to damage dot board’s electronic or electrical systems and water damage is not covered under warranty.
Warning: Risk of Electric Shock
Do not open or tamper with the electrical or electronic housings. This is dangerous and will also void the warranty on your product.
Warning: Risk of Explosion
There is a risk of explosion or burns if battery is tampered with. This will also void the warranty on your product.
Warning: Risk of Burns
DO NOT touch the rear truck or the dot motor after extended use. The dot motor and truck will get hot and may cause serious burns.
Allow time for these areas to cool before touching.
Warning: Use in Dry Conditions Only
Wet riding conditions are dangerous and present a serious risk of losing control and damage to your product and/or personal injury.
The exterior of the dot board is not water resistant. Keep water away from the interior of the dot board, especially the battery connectors.
DO NOT ride through water or splash the product with water.
