The below details the remote haptics and associated messages provided on the dot remote display.
Remote Turn On
Turning on the remote will give you the Dynamic Mode haptic long-short buzz. Then ~3 seconds after the board powers up, you'll get a short buzz indicating the motors are online. If you use the throttle before this motor online buzz, it will reduce the initial power for 5 seconds so when they do come online, you don't get thrown off pumping the throttle.
Board Battery Low
When the board battery drops below 20%, you will get 4 big buzz-buzz-buzz-buzz vibrations along with the message “Battery Low” displayed on the screen. This vibration and message will also be shown if the board is turned on with the board having low battery.
Remote Battery Low
If you turn on the dot remote or the remote is being used and you get a haptic vibration with a message “Charge Remote” displayed on screen, the battery is starting to get low. Please charge as soon as possible.
If you are riding and the remote shows “Remote Low”, the battery is critically low so please charge as soon as possibly otherwise you may risk a remote-skateboard disconnection.
Motor Temperature
You’ll now get 2 short haptic blip vibrations when you get the motors over 90°C. Another 3 if hit 120°C. You won’t get bothered with continuous alerts. But if the temperature drops 20°C lower either, then you heat the motors back up, you’ll get a reminder haptic again. You will also get the message “Motors Hot”.
Braking Low
Low brakes when the battery is full has a haptic alert. It will blip every 3.5 seconds if you’re on the limit. If you keep pushing it… you’ll get warned every 2.5 seconds. If you’re braking too much, for too long, the haptics will be firing every 1.5 seconds so you get the message. Display will also be report Low Brakes.
Push-To-Start
The dot Boards require you to push off and start rolling on your board before the motors will engage. If you don’t push off and attempt to use the throttle while stationary, you will get a buzz-buzz haptic with the message on the remote “PUSH Board to Start”.
Remote Turn Off
Two short buzz-buzz haptic vibrations will confirm the board is turning off.
