Riding a dot board is a lot of fun but it also presents risks. It is important that you read this user manual prior to operation of the device.
- Always wear a helmet, pads and other protection
- Make sure you are comfortable standing and operating a standard non-powered skateboard prior to use
- Improper use of this product can be dangerous, and the product should only be used with care at all times
- The dot board can lose power and brakes at any moment due to radio interference, loss of power, braking when the battery is fully charged, and other factors
- Do not rely entirely on the skateboards braking system or ride in any situation that you wouldn’t be able to handle on a normal skateboard without brakes
- In the event of loss of brakes, safely come to a stop by turning, foot braking or ride uphill
- Do not ride downhill faster than you are able to handle on a non-powered skateboard
- Do not ride towards intersections or obstacles and rely solely on the skateboard braking system
- Do not attempt to brake downhill soon after charging a full battery. This will cause the braking system to pause as the regenerative braking will overcharge the battery
- Do not ride without reading all of the information in this manual
- You must regularly inspect and maintain the board before riding
- Be extra careful around other vehicles and use defensive riding tactics
- Do not subject the board to high-impact actions that may damage internal components over time
- Ride with caution around pedestrians and don’t be a menace
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the skateboard by a person responsible for their safety.
